1. Purpose of Data Processing
We process data for the following purposes:
- Manage the technical and administrative relationship arising from the use of our Shopify application.
- Provide an app embed that adds infinite scroll or a load more button to storefront product listing pages.
- Store app configuration preferences selected by the merchant, such as loading mode, button styling, loading text, and pagination visibility.
- Check whether the app embed appears active on the storefront for setup and support purposes.
- Provide the merchant with an App Home dashboard and setup guide.
- Respond to support requests and technical assistance.
- Improve app functionality and user experience based on aggregated, non-customer usage information.
- Send service-related communications, including updates, security alerts, and maintenance notices.
The data provided will not be used for purposes other than those described without explicit consent.
2. Legal Basis
The legal basis for processing your data is:
- Performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures when you install and use the app.
- The merchant's configuration and activation of the app embed within the theme editor.
- Legitimate interest of Grupo IO Ecommerce S.L. for service improvement, security, and technical support.
- Compliance with legal obligations, including commercial and data protection regulations.
3. Data We Collect
3.1 Store and App Configuration Information
When you install and use the app, we may process information related to your Shopify store, such as:
- Shopify store domain and basic shop information.
- OAuth access token and session data required to keep the app installed and authenticated.
- App configuration preferences, including loading mode, button text, button colors, border radius, loading text, and pagination visibility.
- Setup guide and onboarding state.
- Technical storefront status checks used to determine whether the app embed appears active.
3.2 Product, Order, and Customer Personal Data
This application is focused on storefront pagination behavior and does not process or store customer personal data, order data, payment data, or product catalog data.
4. Data Recipients
Data may be shared only when necessary:
- Legal obligation or operational necessity.
- Shopify Platform: Through official Shopify APIs and app extension systems required for app installation, authentication, and operation.

- Vercel, for application hosting.
- Upstash Redis, for session and app configuration storage.
International transfers follow applicable GDPR safeguards and Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
5. Data Retention
- During subscription: Data required to provide the service is retained while the app is installed.

After uninstall or Shop Redact webhook:
- Store-specific app data is deleted within 48 hours of uninstallation or a valid redaction request.
- Basic records may be kept only if required by legal, tax, or security obligations.

8. Cookies and Storage
The application uses standard authentication tokens and minimal server-side session storage to manage merchant access. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies on the storefront.
9. Shopify Mandatory Webhooks
We implement the mandatory data protection webhooks required by Shopify:
- customers/data_request: Returns no customer personal data because the app does not store customer PII.
- customers/redact: No customer personal data is stored by the app.
- shop/redact: Deletes store-specific app data, configuration settings, and session records associated with the store.
