Custom Shopify development
We build Shopify stores and features with sections your team can edit, considered buying journeys and connections to your business tools. We start with the task you need to solve before suggesting another app.

A useful feature should also be maintainable
Shopify development turns a business requirement into a working part of your store. That might mean a new website, different product-page logic, a section missing from your theme or a connection to another system. At Migraciones.io, we review your starting point and define what we will build, what relies on another tool and how the result will be checked.
What we can develop for your Shopify store
Editable themes and sections
We prepare pages, sections and blocks so your team can change copy, images, videos and product selections in the editor. We also define useful boundaries: which controls marketing needs and which settings should remain consistent. A custom theme should support your next campaign as well as the launch.
Features that help customers choose
Variant selection, product information, cart components or a particular buying journey: we describe the expected behaviour before writing code. We consider difficult states, such as an unavailable combination or an out-of-stock product. If Shopify already provides the function or an app fits the requirement, we assess that option before building it ourselves.
From an approved design to a working store
We can take an approved design and implement it as Shopify components. Mobile layouts, states, real content and interactions need to be resolved before a screen is complete. If the experience or visual direction still needs work, we define that design scope instead of leaving major decisions to be improvised during development.
Integrations with clear responsibilities
When data needs to move between systems, we identify where products, prices, stock and orders originate. We check the relevant connector or API and agree which scenarios it must support. Representative operations are part of validation: connecting two accounts does not demonstrate that a return is handled correctly.
From a requirement to a change you can review
Before estimating the work, we need to understand the problem. A “custom bundle” could involve visual choices, pricing rules, shared inventory and warehouse preparation. Those differences change the development scope.
Scope and dependencies
We agree the pages, components, data and tools involved. We identify what each team supplies and what information is missing. You can then assess a complete proposal and understand which work is outside it.
Implementation you can inspect
We use a suitable review environment or theme copy for the change. You can check the journey and content before publication. If a commercial or visual decision changes, we review its effect on the scope.
Testing and handover
We check the agreed scenarios on mobile and desktop and review the administration tasks. We explain how to use the completed work and what maintenance its dependencies need. The release is planned around the impact of the change.
Not every project needs a theme built from scratch
Extending a section or correcting an integration may be enough. In other cases, the current theme has limitations that justify rebuilding part of the store. We compare those options against your catalogue, campaigns and the team responsible for maintaining the site.
If you know what needs building
Send the requirement and the expected behaviour. A design, an example and the situations in which the feature will be used help us define a concrete proposal.
If you do not yet know what is wrong
A Shopify audit can identify problems and priorities before you commission changes. If you need to choose an architecture or compare alternatives, start with Shopify consulting.
Visible work and a defined scope
Explore our Shopify projects and the Migraciones.io profile in Shopify Partners. When assessing your project, we will discuss relevant work and the dependencies your store actually shares with it. Another business’s results are not a forecast for yours.
Before we start
Can you work on a store already using Shopify?
Yes. We can assess a specific change to an existing theme or feature. We first review its condition and the apps involved. You do not need a new store for every change.
Does development include design?
We define that in the proposal. We can implement a design supplied by your team or also define the missing screens and components. Separating these tasks keeps important decisions from being left without an owner.
Will I be able to edit the sections?
The editable controls are part of the scope. We prepare the agreed settings and test them with real content. A specialised feature may still need technical maintenance even when its content is managed in the editor.
Do I need Shopify Plus?
That is not decided by the name of the feature or the number of products. We check the required functionality and your plan’s conditions. If a customisation needs another configuration, we explain that before committing to the work.
How much does Shopify development cost?
It depends on the pages, logic, connections and condition of the theme. Send your requirement and the tools involved; we prepare a proposal with scope, schedule and price. Third-party licences and services are identified where relevant.
Show us the work you want to move forward
Share your store, a design or the feature holding you back. Include any ERP, app or deadline that affects the project so we can assess the scope.
